1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CVDrop.app ("Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

CVDrop.app provides a platform for users to upload PDF documents (primarily resumes or CVs) and generate trackable URLs to share with third parties (such as recruiters or employers).

3. Fair Use Policy

While our Pro Plan is marketed as offering "Unlimited Active Resumes," we enforce a Fair Use Policy to maintain the health and performance of our systems. Under this policy, a single account is permitted to maintain up to 200 active, tracked resume links simultaneously. This limit is designed to accommodate the needs of legitimate job seekers while preventing programmatic abuse or account sharing. We reserve the right to review, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this Fair Use Policy.

4. User Responsibilities & Content

You are solely responsible for the content you upload to our servers. By uploading a document, you represent and warrant that you have the right to share this document. You agree NOT to upload:

  • Highly sensitive personal data (e.g., Social Security Numbers, banking details, passwords).
  • Content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Malicious files, malware, or illegal content.

We reserve the right to delete any file or terminate any account at our sole discretion without notice if we suspect a violation of these terms.

5. Link Security and Sharing

When you upload a document, we generate a secure, unguessable URL. However, anyone who possesses this URL can view your document. You are entirely responsible for whom you share this link with. We are not responsible for unauthorized third parties viewing your resume if the link was forwarded, leaked, or otherwise distributed.

6. Data Deletion and Reliability

For free, unregistered users, documents and their associated links are automatically and permanently deleted after 36 hours. Registered users may keep links indefinitely. We are not a backup service. We do not guarantee that your files will be stored permanently or perfectly preserved. You must maintain your own local copies of your documents. We are not liable for any lost data.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties (AS IS)

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. CVDROP.APP MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL CVDROP.APP, ITS FOUNDERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, REPUTATIONAL DAMAGE, OR DATA BREACHES) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED ORALLY OR IN WRITING OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. YOUR SOLE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE SERVICE IS TO STOP USING IT.

9. Modifications

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time without notice. By using this website, you agree to be bound by the current version of these Terms of Service.
